For over 80 years, Heaven Engineering has been a trusted name in the HVAC industry, initially founded by Lewis Heaven as a consulting business. Over time, the company evolved into a prominent manufacturer’s representative firm, serving clients from its main office in Kansas City and a branch in Wichita, Kansas.
In 1990, General Heating & Cooling acquired Heaven Engineering, expanding its footprint and influence in the HVAC industry. With this acquisition, General Heating & Cooling assumed the role of Snyder General distributor for Kansas and the western two-thirds of Missouri, while Heaven Engineering’s Wichita branch took on representation for McQuay. This regional focus has allowed Heaven Engineering to build a lasting presence in the territory, a legacy that continues today.
By 1996, General Heating & Cooling was acquired by Pameco Corp., a distributor specializing in commodity products. When Pameco decided to concentrate on its core offerings, a team of dedicated sales professionals stepped up to acquire Heaven Engineering from Pameco in 1997, maintaining the company’s focus on engineered HVAC solutions.
Today, Heaven Engineering proudly represents Daikin Applied (formerly McQuay) in Kansas and Missouri, upholding its commitment to providing exceptional heating, cooling, and air movement solutions to clients across the region. This acquisition marks a continuation of Heaven Engineering’s legacy of quality service, now further empowered by Daikin TMi’s global expertise and resources.
